With a few of these easy DIY projects for teens, your bedroom will quickly go from blah and boring to fun and colorful!

DIY Peg Board

Pegboards are a fun and creative way to organize and keep track off events or to just add a few details to your wall. If you’re an owner of a big room, do try out this fantastic idea!

 DIY Clothing Racks

If you’re planning on assembling and disassembling this clothing rack a lot, I suggest doing this project without using wood glue. Be careful not to overload the rack as well by only placing items you’re planning to wear for the week.

DIY String Art Sign
Dreamy rainbow string art. Make “dream” just like this or any word you like by printing out your type and setting your nails for the word you want. Make this for your room and look at it every morning when you wake up – what an inspiring way to start or end your day

Faux Cactus

Scared you won’t be able to keep a plant alive, but still want some greenery in your room? Make a faux cactus room accent. Start by choosing different sizes of rocks and paint on them using green and white paint. You can even come up with different shades of green by mixing the two colors.

Modern Dreamcatcher

DIY Hammock
So this DIY hammock chair is one of the coolest room decor items ever, and not just for teenagers. Perfect in a reading nook or the corner of a teen or tween bedroom, adults and kids are going to love this DIY seating, too! Be sure to get enough canvas for the chair and get creative in your color combos! Easier to make than I would think, too! Follow the awesome step by step instructions by our heroes at A Beautiful Mess.

Gem Mirror

I’ve found thin lines to look the best for this gem mirror. If you want to follow the thickness of the contact paper placed on the mirror, measure out 1/8” on each side of the lines. Doing so will give you a thickness of 1/4”
